I’m excited to announce that I’ll be having a pop up Christmas shop at 24 Addington Street in Ramsgate throughout December, with some very special stock.
First of all there will be my ‘Colours of Ramsgate’ 2021 calendars, which includes 14 pages of beautiful Ramsgate picture palettes. It will be available in two sizes (A4 and A3) and will cost £10 and £12 respectively. It’s a very strict limited edition – so get one while you can! If you can’t make it to the shop the calendar is also available on my website (the A3 one is already out; the A4 one can be back-ordered for when it arrives on Tuesday 8th December).
Secondly, there will be a couple of very cheeky Ramsgate Christmas cards on sale, with all proceeds going to Thanet Winter Shelter (thank you to Maxine Morgan, Winnie Wing and the Ramsgate winter swimmers for organising that, and for involving me in the project – which was as much fun as it was for a good cause). You can also buy the cards online here
The shop is also an opportunity to buy my prints in various sizes and formats, including the palette prints and the ‘Ramsgreat’ ones, inspired by the street art of ‘Mr Tear Gas’, which were flying off the shelves at the Ramsgate craft market just before lockdown; and to see my new range of greetings cards, including more Christmas ones. Oh and my partner, Tony Tooke, will be selling his Ramsgreat cards too – which look, well, great!
The shop opens today (Saturday 5 December) at 10am, and will then be officially open from 10am to 4pm Wednesday to Sunday (possibly more days and hours subject to demand).
Sadly I can’t entice anyone along with mince pies or mulled wine this year, but two doors away is the gorgeous Falstaff deli for takeaway coffees, cakes and savoury treats, so you’ll want to save yourselves for that. And I will make sure that the shop is looking really festive, and maybe have a few Christmas tunes playing. So there will be plenty of cheer, and plenty of Christmas gift solutions too. Hopefully see you there!
